Amie Merritt, BSW
Referral Coordinator
In 2012, Amie graduated with an Associates in Social Services from Pima Community College. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work, with a major in Child Welfare, from Arizona State University. Amie has served the community and the State of Arizona through various social work roles, to include a Child Welfare Worker, Child’s Advocate, Family Support Specialist, and a foster mother.
In her free time, Amie enjoys cooking, traveling, dancing, and shopping. Her next goal is to enjoy more of the desert scenery through hiking and off roading.
Amie services the agency as the primary contact for all referral request. This ensures that the behavioral health patient’s intake are thoroughly completed before the patient is seen by one of RJPS providers. This requires securing information from clients, guardians, referral sources and historical records to accurately assess client’s needs.

Dr. Angela Chiodo, Psy.D. Clinical Supervisor
Licensed Psychologist, # 004852
Dr. Chiodo attended and graduated from Florida schools and Universities. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1990, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in 1993 and a Doctorate in Psychology in 2002 She is licensed to practice psychology in six states, including Arizona.
Her experience includes individual, child and family therapy. As a psychologist, Dr. Chiodo has extensive experience in program management, supervision, testing, assessment, differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
Hobbies include socializing with friends and family, hiking, and classic cars. Dr. Chiodo enjoys traveling both locally, throughout the US and abroad.

Rosalba Mada, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Resident
Dr. Mada earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies at the University of Arizona. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Counseling at Northern Arizona University.
In 2016, Dr. Mada completed her doctoral research and dissertation and obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Walden University.
Dr. Mada has been conducting psychological, psychoeducational, and psychosexual evaluations for over 10 years in both English and Spanish. Dr. Mada has also been trained in evidenced based psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. She has over 10 years experience conducting individual, group and couples counseling.

Josie Camacho, MA, LMFT
Doctoral Intern
Josephina Camacho G, MA, LMFT, NCCE & NCPC is a licensed mental health professional with over 22 years of experience.
She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with Marriage and Family Therapy emphasis and is certified as a national custody evaluator and parenting coordinator. She is pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Walden University and is a certified trauma-focus therapist.
Her experience in mental health varies from being an advocate to survivors of sexual abuse, providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families of all ages, working with inmate population, leading and mentoring other mental health professionals, and providing services in the forensic realm of mental health.

Megan Quintero, MA, LAC,
NCC, Therapist
Megan Quintero, MA, LAC, NCC is a license associate mental health associate with over three years of experience in behavioral health. She holds a Master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in mental health and rehabilitation from the University of Arizona.
Megan’s experience in mental health has served the population of birth to five, adolescence, teenagers and families, while also serving the adult population. Her experience includes working with parents one on one to provide parenting support, while also facilitating group therapy for teenagers. Megan uses trauma informed care while working with individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, trauma and grief, as well as individuals with diagnosis ranging from Depression to individuals with Bi-Polar. She has served as a volunteer with the Autism Society and the Pima County Community Justice Board to help serve youths a families.
